Display a Google Slides presentation on CastHub
The supported workflow is to publish your Google Slides deck to the web and add the resulting URL as a Web Page slide. The deck plays as a live web page, so any updates you make in Google Slides appear on screens after a refresh without re-uploading anything.
Step 1: Publish to web in Google Slides
Open the deck in Google Slides. Choose File, then Share, then Publish to web. In the dialog, set Auto-advance slides to your preferred speed (most signage use cases work well at 5 to 10 seconds), check Start slideshow as soon as the player loads, check Restart the slideshow after the last slide, and click Publish. Copy the embed link Google generates.
Step 2: Add as a Web Page slide in CastHub
Open or create a presentation in CastHub, choose Add Web Page, paste the published URL, and save. The deck will appear as a slide in your CastHub presentation. Set the CastHub slide duration long enough for the entire deck to cycle if you want each loop to play in full, or shorter if you only want a sample to show before moving on to the next CastHub slide.
Animations
Animations and transitions configured in Google Slides play automatically as part of the embedded deck. There is no separate setting in CastHub for this.
If you prefer a static deck
If you do not need live updates, export the Google Slides deck as a PDF or PPTX and upload it directly to CastHub. Static decks play offline on platforms that cache uploaded content; the live web-page workflow requires internet access at playback time.
