Digital Signage for Gyms and Fitness Centers

What gym signage costs, which software works across a chain, how class schedules reach screens, and how studios and health clubs use it.

A gym lobby displays a digital schedule of fitness classes alongside member announcements and PT promotions.

Gyms, fitness centers and gym chains choose between per-screen and flat-rate digital signage software. Yodeck publishes $8 per screen per month with the first screen free, Kitcast $7 to $10 per screen, OptiSigns $10 per screen, and Revel Digital $9 to $39 per screen, all fetched 2026-09-02. CastHub charges a flat rate instead: $12 per month for up to 2 screens, $35 for up to 10, and $95 for up to 25. Screen count decides which model costs less.

A gym, fitness center or boutique studio runs front-desk, studio-entrance, cardio-floor and locker-area screens from one CMS, carrying class timetables, member milestone recognition, personal training promotions, café menu boards and social media walls. CastHub replaces printed timetables on those screens and keeps the content current on the days when staff cannot speak to every visitor.

What is digital signage for gyms?

Digital signage for gyms is a network of internet-connected TVs that show class schedules, member recognition, personal training promotions and social content from one browser dashboard. CastHub, Yodeck, Kitcast, OptiSigns and Revel Digital all sell this software. Screens sit at the front desk, at studio entrances, on the cardio floor and in the café, and a fitness center typically runs five to twelve of them.

How much does digital signage for gyms cost?

A 10-screen mid-size gym costs $35 per month with CastHub Pro, $80 with Yodeck, $100 with Kitcast Pro, and $100 with OptiSigns, using the rates each vendor published on 2026-09-02. Hardware adds $200 to $500 per consumer TV, $30 per wall mount, and $99.99 per Amazon Signage Stick on Amazon. Annual CastHub Pro plans include a free Amazon Signage Stick.

A 6-screen build runs roughly $1,800 in one-time hardware before any software subscription starts. See the full digital signage pricing breakdown for category-wide cost ranges.

What is the best digital signage for gym chains and franchises?

For a gym chain or franchise the pricing model decides it, because every per-screen platform multiplies. Yodeck at $8 per screen, Kitcast Pro at $10 and Revel Digital Basic at $9 all scale linearly with screen count, so a 60-screen chain pays $480, $600 and $540 per month. CastHub charges a flat $95 per month for up to 25 screens and $174 with the unlimited add-on above that.

The table below multiplies each vendor’s published rate out to 25, 60 and 100 screens.

Corporate versus local control comes down to device groups. CastHub Pro and Enterprise support multiple device groups, so head office assigns a default presentation to every location group and a franchisee changes its own group without touching the rest of the chain. Kitcast, Yodeck and Revel Digital each describe corporate templates with local overrides in a single sentence on their gym pages, fetched 2026-09-02, and none of the four, CastHub included, publishes the permission model behind it. Scoped permissions are in development at CastHub and are not shipped.

Which fitness center digital signage software works across multiple locations?

Multi-location fitness center signage needs four things: device groups per site, scheduling that respects each time zone, one shared content library, and remote commands to restart a screen without a site visit. CastHub, Kitcast, Yodeck and truDigital each state multi-location management on their own pages, and truDigital titles its site around it. Revel Digital states it once inside a franchise FAQ, and ScreenCloud and OptiSigns state nothing about it on their fitness pages.

Three CastHub limits matter when a chain plans the rollout. Multiple device groups need Pro or Enterprise, because Basic is built for a single group. Remote and scheduled device commands run on the Amazon Signage Stick only, so a fitness club mixing Fire TV, Apple TV and Tizen screens still restarts the rest by hand, which remote screen management covers. Web page slides are never cached, so a screen showing a live web schedule goes blank when the connection drops. Multi-site digital signage cost breaks the spend down per location.

Which gym software integrates with digital signage?

CastHub ships no Mindbody, ABC Fitness, Mariana Tek, Glofox or GymMaster connector. CastHub shows a class schedule as a web page slide when the booking platform publishes a public schedule page, or as an image or slide the staff maintain. A login-gated Mindbody dashboard cannot be embedded, because CastHub web page slides cannot authenticate. Revel Digital is the one vendor here that syncs Mindbody, Glofox and Zen Planner, and it does so through calendar feeds, fetched 2026-09-02.

Yodeck, ScreenCloud, OptiSigns and Kitcast name no booking platform at all on their gym pages, fetched 2026-09-02. Mariana Tek’s own partner marketplace lists exactly one signage partner, CloudFit. Mindbody, ABC Fitness, Glofox and GymMaster publish no signage integration on their own sites. Multi-location chains share the centralized-template pattern with office digital signage at corporate.

What hardware do gyms use for digital signage?

Most gyms use a regular TV for digital signage: consumer 43-inch to 55-inch panels at $200 to $500 per screen paired with the Amazon Signage Stick as the player, $99.99 on Amazon. Commercial displays at $500 to $2,000 are warranted only for 24-hour facilities or outdoor placements with high ambient brightness. Mount screens at standing eye level, 6 to 10 feet from the typical viewing position.

How do you display class schedules on gym screens?

CastHub displays a class schedule two ways. When the booking platform publishes a public schedule page, a CastHub web page slide points at that URL and the screen shows whatever that page shows. When it does not, staff maintain the schedule as an image or a slide inside CastHub. Web page slides do not play offline and do not play on Samsung Tizen or Roku, so plan the player around that. See how to display class schedules for the walkthrough.

What is the best digital signage software for gyms in 2026?

Screen count decides it. Yodeck at $8 per screen and Kitcast Starter at $7 cost least for a single studio, and OptiSigns at $10 per screen leads on app breadth. The CastHub flat rate wins above four screens: Pro at $35 per month covers up to 10 screens, Enterprise at $95 per month covers up to 25, and unlimited screens is a $79 per month add-on on top of Enterprise, $174 per month in total.

How do fitness studios, boutique gyms and health clubs use digital signage?

A fitness studio puts the class schedule at the door, timers and workout boards on the training floor, and retail and smoothie pricing at the desk, which staff update by hand because CastHub has no POS sync and no automatic price syncing. A boutique studio or health club also runs member milestones in the lobby. One to three screens fall inside CastHub Basic at $12 per month, and a larger fitness club moves to Pro at $35.

Boutique studios rarely need more than three screens, which is why per-screen platforms stay competitive at that size: Yodeck gives the first screen free and Kitcast Starter is $7 per screen, both fetched 2026-09-02. The CastHub flat rate only starts paying at four screens and above. Kitcast is the only competitor in this set whose gym page uses the phrase boutique studios at all.

Can a gym use AI to control digital signage?

CastHub publishes an open MCP (Model Context Protocol) server with approximately 58 tools across 10 domains, reachable over OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, that Claude Desktop and Cursor invoke directly. Write operations preview the change and ask for confirmation. A marketing manager at a 12-screen fitness center types “push the new HIIT challenge to all studio screens”, and every screen updates before the first 6am class with no portal login.
