Class Schedule Signage for Gyms and Studios
Layouts, update timing, cancellations and multi-location setups for class schedules on gym and studio TVs, whichever booking platform you use.
Gyms and fitness studios put class schedules on TVs two ways. When the booking platform publishes a public schedule page, a CastHub web page slide points at that URL and the screen mirrors it. When it does not, staff maintain the timetable as an uploaded image or a slide and republish it when classes change. CastHub ships no Mindbody, ABC Fitness, Glofox, Mariana Tek or GymMaster connector, so nothing arrives on the screen automatically.
A group-fitness studio or gym front-of-house team runs studio-entrance screens, lobby displays and locker-area boards carrying today’s timetable, instructor names, room assignments and tomorrow’s preview, replacing the printed weekly schedule taped to the studio door. CastHub drives all of those screens from one presentation and one device group per site.
How do gyms and fitness studios display class schedules on screens?
Digital signage for gyms covers several formats, and the class schedule is the most-watched one. CastHub shows it on a studio screen either as a web page slide pointed at the booking platform’s public schedule page, or as an image or slide the front desk maintains. Gyms and fitness studios choose between the two on whether a public page exists. See how digital signage works for the architecture.
Can class schedule signage sync with Mindbody, ABC, Glofox or Mariana Tek?
CastHub ships no Mindbody, ABC Fitness, Glofox, Mariana Tek or GymMaster connector and no data-feed tool, so nothing syncs on its own. Revel Digital is the one platform in this set that syncs Mindbody, Glofox and Zen Planner, and its own FAQ says this runs through calendar feeds, fetched 2026-09-02. Yodeck, ScreenCloud, OptiSigns and Kitcast name no booking platform on their gym pages.
A login-gated Mindbody or ABC Fitness dashboard cannot be embedded at all, because CastHub web page slides cannot authenticate. Web page slides are also never cached for offline playback and do not play on Samsung Tizen or Roku, so a studio that wants a live web schedule needs an Amazon Signage Stick, Android TV or Apple TV on that screen and a working connection.
| Booking platform | Signage partner named on its own site (fetched 2026-09-02) | What CastHub can show today |
|---|---|---|
| Mindbody | None published, marketplace not publicly reachable | Web page slide when the location publishes a public schedule page, otherwise a staff-maintained slide |
| ABC Fitness | None published | Web page slide from a public schedule page, otherwise a staff-maintained slide |
| Mariana Tek | CloudFit, the only signage partner in its marketplace | Web page slide from a public schedule page, otherwise a staff-maintained slide |
| Glofox | None published | Web page slide from a public schedule page, otherwise a staff-maintained slide |
| GymMaster | None published | Web page slide from a public schedule page, otherwise a staff-maintained slide |
How often do class schedules update on a fitness studio screen?
A CastHub web page slide loads the booking platform’s public schedule page each time the slide comes around in the presentation loop, so the screen is as current as that page. A staff-maintained schedule slide changes when someone republishes it, which for most gyms and fitness studios is weekly. CastHub does not poll a booking platform API, so a same-day instructor swap reaches the screen only through whichever of those two routes the studio uses.
What does a gym or fitness studio class schedule layout look like?
The standard layout dedicates the top half of the screen to today’s classes with five columns: time, class name, instructor, room, and status indicator. Tomorrow’s classes appear in a smaller block below for context. Brand colors anchor the header and footer. Cancellations render with a red “Cancelled” badge. Avoid auto-rotating tickers or motion graphics in the schedule area. Layouts that combine schedule with member recognition content work only when screens rotate between formats.
Can class cancellations reach gym and fitness studio screens automatically?
Not automatically on CastHub. When the booking platform’s public schedule page shows the cancellation, a CastHub web page slide pointing at that page shows it too. Otherwise a staff member edits the schedule slide, or starts a CastHub alert, which switches every screen in a device group to an alert presentation within seconds. Gyms and fitness studios running high-traffic classes usually keep the alert route for last-minute changes.
How do gym chains and multi-location fitness studios display schedules?
Multi-location gym chains run one CastHub account with a device group per location, so corporate assigns a default presentation to every group and each site publishes its own schedule slide. Per-screen pricing penalizes that scale: a 60-screen, 10-location chain runs $480 per month with Yodeck at $8 per screen. CastHub Enterprise at $95 per month covers up to 25 screens, and unlimited screens is a $79 per month add-on on top of Enterprise, $174 per month in total.
The chain arithmetic at 25, 60 and 100 screens sits in the vendor table under what is the best digital signage for gym chains and franchises. Smaller PT studios use the same device-group setup at lower cost.
