Multi-Screen Digital Signage: Manage All Your Displays

How CastHub groups, schedules and monitors screens across rooms, buildings and time zones from one web dashboard.

The Multi-Screen Problem

It always starts the same way. You mount a TV in the lobby, load a presentation onto a USB stick, and plug it in. It looks great. Then someone asks for a screen in the breakroom. Then one by the warehouse entrance. Then corporate wants screens at the other two locations by next quarter.

Now you have a logistics problem disguised as a signage project. Somebody has to physically visit each screen to update content. If you’re lucky, that person is on-site. If you’re not, someone is driving between buildings with a thumb drive, or emailing PowerPoints to a site manager who adds it to a list of things they’ll get to eventually. Content goes stale. Screens show last month’s specials. The safety metrics display hasn’t been updated since the new quarter started.

Some teams try consumer streaming devices and shared folders. Others build internal tools with a Raspberry Pi and a prayer. A few bite the bullet and buy into an enterprise signage platform, only to find out that pricing is per-screen — and the cost scales faster than the screen count. At 25 screens and $8 to $20 each per month, you’re paying $2,400 to $6,000 a year just for software.

The core issue isn’t the screens. It’s the gap between having content and getting it onto the right screen at the right time, across every location, without turning it into someone’s full-time job.

How CastHub Manages Multiple Screens

CastHub gives you one web dashboard that controls every screen in your organization, regardless of where it is or what hardware it runs on. Here’s how the workflow actually works.

Watch CastHub run a demo cafe chain’s four screens from one dashboard: change a whole group at once, add a slide everywhere, switch breakfast to lunch on a weekly schedule and put one notice on every screen. Recorded October 7, 2026 on the real CastHub dashboard (4:45).

1. Add Your Screens

Install the CastHub app on any supported device — Amazon Signage Stick, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS, or a Windows PC. Each device registers itself to your account automatically. You’ll see it appear in your dashboard within seconds.

2. Organize Into Groups

Drag screens into groups that match your physical layout. Group by building, by floor, by department, by function — whatever makes sense for your operation. A screen can belong to multiple groups. Rename, reorganize, and restructure groups at any time without affecting what’s currently playing.

3. Assign Content to Groups

Build your presentations in CastHub or upload existing files, then assign them to a group. Every screen in that group receives the content automatically. No USB drives, no emailing files, no walking to each screen.

4. Schedule by Time

Set different content for different times of day, days of the week, or specific date ranges. Morning safety briefing at 6 AM, lunch specials at 11, company announcements at 3 PM — all automated, all managed from one screen.

Content Sync and Scheduling

When you publish content to a group, every screen in that group updates simultaneously. There’s no delay between the first screen and the last. Whether the group contains 3 screens in one hallway or 30 screens across five cities, the update happens in one push.

Time-Based Scheduling

Most organizations don’t want the same content running all day. A restaurant needs the breakfast menu at 6 AM, the lunch menu at 11, and happy hour specials at 4 PM. A manufacturing floor needs the morning safety briefing before first shift and production metrics during the day. CastHub lets you build a full weekly schedule where different content plays at different times, automatically.

Cross-Location, Cross-Timezone

If your locations span multiple time zones, CastHub handles the conversion. Set your schedule in local time for each location — the 9 AM announcement plays at 9 AM in New York and 9 AM in Denver, not noon in Denver because someone set it to Eastern. Each screen respects its own timezone while following the same logical schedule.

Instant Overrides

Need to push an emergency alert or time-sensitive announcement to every screen right now? Override the schedule with a single click. The scheduled content resumes automatically when the override expires or when you remove it.

Multi-Location Management

Managing screens inside one building is straightforward. Managing screens across 10 buildings in 4 states is where most signage platforms start to break down — or start charging significantly more. CastHub treats multi-location management as a core feature, not a premium add-on.

Location-Based Groups

Create a hierarchy that mirrors your organization. Top-level groups for each city or region, sub-groups for each building, then groups within buildings for specific areas. Push content to a single screen, a single floor, a single building, or every screen in the company — all from the same interface.

Remote Monitoring

Every screen reports its status back to the dashboard. You can see which screens are online, which are offline, what content is currently playing, and when each screen last checked in. If a screen in your Denver office goes offline at 2 AM, you’ll know about it before anyone walks in the next morning.

Manage From Anywhere

The CastHub dashboard runs in any modern browser. Update content from your office desktop, your laptop at home, your phone in a taxi, or your tablet on a job site. There’s no dedicated app to install and no VPN to connect to — just log in and manage.

Local Managers, Central Control

Give site managers the ability to update content for their own location without giving them access to the entire organization. Role-based permissions let you delegate day-to-day updates while keeping central control over branding, templates, and organization-wide announcements.

What It Costs

Most digital signage platforms charge per screen per month. That model works fine when you have 2 screens. At 25 screens, it becomes a significant line item. Here’s how CastHub compares to the major platforms for a 25-screen deployment.

ProviderMonthly Software CostAnnual Software Cost
BrightSign (BSN.cloud Content Cloud)$206.25/mo ($99 per player per year)$2,475/yr
Yodeck (Basic)$200/mo ($8/screen)$2,400/yr
ScreenCloud (Core)$500/mo ($20/screen)$6,000/yr
CastHub Enterprise$95/mo (flat, up to 25 screens)$1,140/yr

Software only, billed yearly, as published on October 7, 2026. Billed monthly, CastHub Enterprise is $119 a month.

At 25 screens, CastHub saves you between $1,260 and $4,860 a year compared with per-screen pricing. CastHub Enterprise covers up to 25 screens for $95 a month. Past 25, the unlimited add-on makes it $174 a month for any number of screens, so at 50 screens CastHub costs $2,088 a year against $4,800 for Yodeck Basic and $12,000 for ScreenCloud Core. The more screens you add, the more you save.

Works With Your Hardware

CastHub doesn’t require proprietary media players or specific display brands. If you already have screens and devices, there’s a good chance CastHub runs on them. No rip-and-replace, no vendor lock-in.
